Join us on Wednesday October 3 for a special evening with two leading
spokesmen in Psychedelics; Dr. Dennis McKenna and Robert Barnhart, both
members of the renown Heffter Institute 

Dennis and Robert will start of the evening with a short conversation on the changing cultural mores of Psychedelics and then a screening of their documentaries:
 
First, The Shaman and the Scientist, directed by Sarah Hutt staring Dennis McKenna explores the symbiotic relationship between the shaman and the indigenous plants in the Amazonian Rainforest and how these could useful in the treatment of mental illness. The second documentary A NEW UNDERSTANDING, directed by Robert chronicles the beneficial uses of Psilocybin on terminally ill patients and his success in having Psilocybin moved from a schedule 1 substance to schedule 2
